We prepare annual and management accounts as well as projections and forecasts plus client’s specific accounting requirements

TAXATION

As a firm we are always aware of the ever changing and complicated tax legislation, and the implications for our clients. We provide the most tax effective advice for our corporate and personal clients. Stephen Kent is a member of the Tax Faculty at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

ACCOUNTANCY DEVELOPMENT

Accountancy is a complicated subject and one that many people find confusing. At Stephen Kent and Company Limited we appreciate the concerns that our clients might feel and we have established a reputation for our good communication skills, approachability and availability. We can advise you as you start up a new business, provide assistance in obtaining financial backing and offer guidance and support.

PAYROLL

Stephen Kent & Company Limited provide a full payroll service, computerised or manual, depending on our clients individual requirements. The service includes the full maintenance and operation of the staff payroll, PAYE and NIC calculations and liability monitoring. We also deal with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) regarding deductions for subcontractors or contractors as appropriate. We deal with the completion and submission of all end of year returns including CIS returns, P35, P14, P60 forms as well as P11D and P45 forms as appropriate.

BOOK KEEPING

We can advise you in your choice of book keeping system, manual or computerised, and assist you in its implementation and training. We take the pressure off many of our clients by providing an in house book keeping service, eg; sales, purchase and nominal ledgers, preparation of VAT returns etc. leaving you to concentrate on other areas of your business.

DISTANCE CLIENTS

Over the years we have developed an extremely cost efficient service for a considerable number of our clients in the south of England. These clients appreciate the high quality of our work and the excellent standard of service.
